The paintings for the poster edition by Maria Helena Vieira da Silva A Poesia Está na Rua – 25 de Abril de 1974 (Poetry is on the Street – April 25th, 1974), 1975, are the starting point for the third talk of the series ‘Imagem e Revolução’ (‘Image and Revolution’). It happens on Thursday October 10th, at 5 pm, in the Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar, in Lisbon.
IN2PAST researcher Ivo Braz (IHA – NOVA FCSH / IN2PAST) joins Lígia Afonso (LIDA – ESAD, Caldas da Rainha) and Paulo Pires do Vale (Plano Nacional das Artes). IHA – NOVA FCSH / IN2PAST researcher and series organiser Mariana Pinto dos Santos moderates.
This series of talks is co-organized by the Atelier and IHA – NOVA FCSH / IN2PAST, as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of ’25 de Abril’. It includes three other talks, two of which already happened, on June 27th and July 11th.
The third is scheduled for October 10th, covering the topic of Museums and Revolution.
