The venue at the Rectory of the University of Minho (Sala dos Arcos) seemed small to accommodate so many researchers and representatives from various organisations who answered the call to take part in the public session that opened IN2PAST’s 5th National Meeting, on January 22nd, in Braga.
The goal of this informal session was to foster a closer dialogue between scientists and representatives from regional and national institutions of reference in the fields of Heritage, Arts, Culture, Territory and Sustainability, namely from intermunicipal and municipal communities, directors and technicians from archives, libraries, museums and other public and private institutions, towards the establishment of future collaborative partnerships and projects.
Fátima Moura Ferreira (photo to the right), Lab2PT director and IN2PAST vice-president, was one of the hosts, together with UMinho’s Vice-Rector for Culture and Territory, Joana Aguiar e Silva, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Eugénio Campos Ferreira, and the president of IN2PAST, António Candeias (HERCULES Laboratory).
