IN2PAST researchers go to the Medeiros e Almeida Museum

On May 18th, International Museum Day, IN2PAST partners with the Medeiros e Almeida Museum, in Lisbon, to bring you a series of ‘Talks on Art & Science‘, to be held in the afternoon at the museum’s Sala do Lago.

The aim is to highlight new paths in Museology that are aligned with research produced in an academic environment in the fields of Art History and Chemistry, as well as laboratory analysis for a deeper understanding of collections.

This year, the International Museum Day is dedicated to the theme ‘Museums, Education and Research’, emphasising the central role of cultural institutions in providing a holistic educational experience. These Talks on Art & Science are open to anyone interested in History, Art History, Art, Museums, Museology, Science, and Collecting.
