IN2PAST is an R&D organisation committed to mobilising its resources and scientific results to develop new intellectual or technological content, solutions, services and/or products, in cooperation with other players in the field, which promote the enjoyment, safeguarding, participation, inclusion, representativeness and sustainable development of Cultural Heritage, the Arts and Collective Memory. This commitment translates into the establishment or strengthening of relationships with non-scientific entities, benefiting society with the results of scientific activity and producing Recommendations on Public Policies in the fields of Cultural Heritage, Arts and Collective Memory.
The Strategic Forum is the non-governing body of IN2PAST where affiliated institutions of various kinds, from the Cultural Heritage, Arts and Collective Memory fields, have a seat. As inscribed in IN2PAST’s Regulation, this council meets once a year with the aim of contributing to the associate lab’s activities in the areas of research, education, public policy development, partnership with civil society and fundraising.
IN2PAST policy papers are reports where specific, or more generic, issues in the fields of Cultural Heritage, Arts and Collective Memory are analysed, and recommendations or proposals for future direction on public policy are summarily presented.
