IFILNOVA researcher Bartholomew Ryan and IELT researcher Pedro Sepúlveda will talk about the publishing house Olisipo (1921-1923), Fernando Pessoa’s ambitious editorial project, whose plan included publishing Portuguese authors, Greek classics and English authors, as well as several English-Portuguese and Portuguese-English translations.
Moderated by IHA / IN2PAST researcher Mariana Pinto dos Santos, this rendezvous takes place Saturday, April 13th, at 4 pm, in Casa Fernando Pessoa. Everyone is welcome to take part and entrance is free, subject only to room capacity.
‘Olisipo, Fernando Pessoa’s publishing house‘ is part of the exhibition ‘Almada and Pessoa: Conversation between libraries’, co-curated by Mariana and which displays documents and books from the CEDANSA documental archive.
