A first glimpse of IN2PAST’s activity and research will be offered on June 25th at Festival Imaterial, in Évora.
The new Associate Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Heritage, Arts, Sustainability and Territory brings together specialists in chemistry, architecture, musical studies, art history and anthropology, crossing different fields of knowledge with the aim of studying and intervening in the areas of cultural heritage, museums, arts, and memory policies.
Based at the University of Évora, IN2PAST joins researchers from seven research units and five universities, namely Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Iscte-IUL, University of Coimbra and University of Minho – in addition to the University of Évora.
The new festival (this is a ‘zero edition’) aims to promote intangible cultural heritage and assert culture as a strategic vehicle for the development of the city of Évora.
