On December 15, 2025, IN2PAST will hold elections for its governing bodies. With the current elective terms of the governing bodies coming to an end, it is time to choose who will serve as president and vice-presidents of the Board, president of the Scientific Council, members of the Ethics Committee and members of the Supervisory Board, for the next three years. Polling stations will be open in Évora, Braga, Guimarães, and Lisbon, between 10 am and 12, and between 2 pm and 5 pm. Voting is in person.

PhD researchers (researchers with a doctorate degree) who are ‘integrated’ members (‘integrados’) of the Research Units that make up IN2PAST are eligible to hold elected office and are also eligible to vote. Candidacies must be sent by 11:59 pm on 7 November 2025 to the email address in2past@in2past.org, in accordance with the provisions of the first election call, and the IN2PAST Regulation. Eligible researchers should also check the electorate composition in the election register, the locations and times of voting, and the deadlines for contesting, among other useful information.

The list of eligible candidacies was sent on 15 November, via email, to all PhD researchers, with the second election call.

On November 28th, the third and last election call was issued, with the times and locations for the 15 December election, to take place between 10 am and 12, and between 2 pm and 5 pm, in:
