A recruitment procedure is open to hire a PhD researcher with a science manager profile to carry out research and science managenent activities in the framework of IN2PAST – Associate Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Heritage, Arts, Sustainability and Territory, under a fixed-term public service contract, for a period of three years, which may be renewable for periods of one year up to a maximum duration of six years, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 57/2016, of August 29, and the Regulation for the Evaluation of the Performance of Doctoral Researchers at the University of Évora, published by Order No. 7123/2019 (2nd series), of August 9.
Valued Profile/ Experience
Doctorate/PhD in Social Sciences, Heritage Sciences or similar, and holder of a scientific and professional CV that reveals a suitable profile for the activities to be carried out;
Experience in science, technology and innovation management, including projects, networks and programmes;
or experience/ monitoring of the science and technology or higher education system in Portugal or abroad, including research management and funding attraction;
Applied or practice-based research activities developed in the last 3 years including science management and science communication;
Extension and knowledge dissemination activities developed in the last 3 years in projects and research units;
Conferences/ other scientific events organisation;
Active participation in scientific networks and consortia;
Participation in, or monitoring of, application submission processes for national and/or European funding.
Salary
Gross monthly remuneration is 2,294,95€, corresponding to level 33 of the Single Remuneration Table (‘Tabela Remuneratória Única’) updated by Decree-Law No. 108/2023, of November 22.
