The exhibition devoted to the history and legacies of Amílcar Cabral, which was on display in Lisbon between March and June this year, with scientific curatorship by IHC researchers Leonor Pires Martins and José Neves, IN2PAST vice-president, was officially opened yesterday at the Presidential Palace in Bissau. This time, IHC researcher Victor Barros was the host of the inaugural visit, which was attended by the Presidents of the Republic and the Prime Ministers of Guinea-Bissau and Portugal.
The exhibit, promoted by the Executive Committee of the Mission Structure for the Commemorations of the fiftieth anniversary of the Revolution of April 25, 1974, travelled to Guinea-Bissau with the support of Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Lingua, the Embassy of Portugal in Bissau and local authorities.
