IN2PAST associate laboratory to be presented in Lisbon

presentation

02/12/2022

02:30 - 05:30 pm

AUDITORIUM B1, NOVA FCSH (Tower B)

IN2PAST – Associate Laboratory for Research and Innovation in Heritage, Arts, Sustainability, and Territory is the first Associate Laboratory in the field of Humanities. After its application for the statute was approved in the call promoted by the Portuguese public agency Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) in 2020/2021, IN2PAST is now taking its first steps.

Bringing together research units from several disciplinary areas (ranging from Chemistry to Contemporary History, including Anthropology, Archaeology, Architecture, Art History, and Music), IN2PAST joins the University of Évora, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL), the University of Minho, Iscte-IUL, and the University of Coimbra.

On December 2nd, IN2PAST will be presented in Lisbon, following previous meetings held in Évora and Minho. Therefore, we invite the faculty, researchers, and students of UNL and Iscte-IUL, our two management institutions in the Lisbon region, to attend the presentation of this new Associated Laboratory. We are confident that IN2PAST is open to collaborating with all research units and departments of the two universities.
