Taking into consideration the analysis of the artistic collections of Ana Vieira, Clara Menéres, Eduardo Nery, and João Cutileiro, the project aims to consider the diverse situations surrounding the legacies of contemporary artists – their legal status, conservation and restoration conditions, preservation of production sites and materials, possibilities for exhibition, and accessibility for study and interpretation. The project seeks to identify existing strategies within the complexity of these issues and to foster new ones. In this exploratory phase, the project will focus on understanding the current organizational and inventory status of each of these collections.
