António Candeias was elected Rector of University of Évora

António Candeias, President of the Scientific Council of IN2PAST and former President of the IN2PAST Board, has been elected Rector of the Universidade de Évora, for the upcoming term of 2026–2030.

The election took place today, 30 March, at a deliberative meeting of the General Council of the University of Évora, held at the Colégio do Espírito Santo of the University of Évora.

António Candeias is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Évora and the Director-Founder of the Laboratório HERCULES.
