Ant\u00f3nio Candeias<\/a>, President of the Scientific Council of IN2PAST and former President of the IN2PAST Board, has been elected Rector of the Universidade de \u00c9vora,<\/a> for the upcoming term of 2026\u20132030.<\/p>

The election took place today, 30 March, at a deliberative meeting of the General Council of the University of \u00c9vora, held at the Col\u00e9gio do Esp\u00edrito Santo of the University of \u00c9vora.<\/p>

Ant\u00f3nio Candeias is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of \u00c9vora and the Director-Founder of the Laborat\u00f3rio HERCULES<\/a>.<\/p>
